If a mod or sholiz could make an announcement (if this is announcement worthy at least) that'd be cool I guess.. Or sticky this or something. Thanks. Keep any bitching to contact us. I'll return your e-mail when I get the chance. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 668 | Come to think of it, screw an announcement. A sticky is fine, assuming it deserves one. Thanks again. Oh, and by the way, if you're wondering why your log-in information won't work, your forum log-in will NOT work on the front-end of the site. You must register a new account there, sorry for the inconvienance but it has enabled me to make the place much better. There is a registration and log-in button at the top left corner. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 668 | Oh, and finally if you're wondering why your name isn't showing up on the members bios page, it is because you're a priv1 user (read the Article FAQ so you'll know wtf that means). |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 668 | Thanks bro, you should register an account by the way. I encourage everyone does, it only takes two seconds and even if you don't intend on being an article writer, there are other reasons to be registered: Poll comment viewing and posting, article rating and commenting, among other things aswell as anything I deem fit to require registration in the first place. It's a bit of a pain, but once you have an account on both the forums and the front end of the site, you're set. If you wish you may use the same username/password as on the forums. Also, if you use a different username, example say your forum name is "Jimmy307" and you use "Timbucktwo" as your username on the front-end, no one will know who you are. So I recomened that when you register perhaps add your forum user name to your bio, or use your username from the forums. Note: Edit your account is currently being worked on, I already finished it all up, just a matter of working it into the layout. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 47 | Sweet. I'm gonna register as a different name to trick everyone. *EDIT* Because my pea-sized brain doesn't know this, on the main page, when it says, "Register," that means to register for the main site, right? or no? ![]() MOP

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 51 | Hey Luke and Sholiz, The new front end looks great! One small change I would recommend is to make the entry to forum a little more prominent, so people don't miss it. You might create a slightly larger section on the front page that says something to the effect of......come visit the famous IronMass Message Boards for Training and Nutrition advice, Helpful tips and Fun conversation... etc..etc... Just a little something extra to direct people to the boards where we have the most going on right now. I like the new look! :nosthumbs - EME

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 668 | Oh, and by the way just so you guys know i'll be essentially taking over the front-end of the site (I think at least) and it'll pretty much be mine. I'll take suggestions and the like from sholiz more seriously than anyone elses and whatnot, but ultimately on the site what I say is what goes. I do have to highly thank him for making that nice layout for me though, and making a couple pages look nicer. But with whats in place I can take it from here and dout i'll need any help again in the future. This isn't to devalue the importance sholiz is to ironmass though, in the grand scheme of things he still runs this site, has it registered to his host under his name, and he runs the forums in way of who gets modded and who doesn't, ect. Like I said though, quick work (compaired to my coding) or not, the site couldn't exsist with the template sholiz created, and I know damn well he worked long and hard on it. Also, sholiz has the most stressful role in the world of ironmass. Thanks, just wanted to let you guys know. Oh, and about the news.. I'm not sure yet, but depending on how things go I may begin added generic news entries, such as oylmpia results, ect. if that is the case I will have a news-writer class aswell. If I decide on this, I will open up an application form. EDIT: In fact, i've made up my mind. I am going to have two categories for news, bodybuilding news and site news. Site news will only be postable to admins, but I will set up an application form for people interested in becoming bodybuilding news writers. Don't expect to see this today or anything though, as I wish for the site to get settled down, more active, ect. before than. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 668 | Thanks bro. I gotta say, I am more than disapointed about the results of the first day. I'm hoping its because its a weekend, but something close to 30 votes (not much compaired to the amount of unique visits per day) and out of those voters like 5 took the time to register. My graditude to those who registered though, and a big thank you to you Peaked, I won't forget that you were the first user to submit some articles. Also, i'd like to point out that peaked is the only one so far that has subscribed to the ironmass newsletter. Also, I guess it is in part too because people don't feel there is a purpose to register yet while its so dorment, very few articles, ect. not a lot of benifits really, and not everyones interested in writing thier own. Taking that into consideration, i'm expecting and hoping that it will just pick up slowly for the first little while, but exponentially increase similar to the way the forum did, just at a much accellerated rate. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 668 | Heh, because it isn't feasible to have one static registration. I already explained somewhere. But whatever, I don't have time for this shit. To anyone who doesn't want to spend a minute registering, too bad. I'm not changing shit regarding registration. As soon as they try logging in too it should be obvious that they need a new registration. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 668 | Thanks, and i'm not being pissy at all... If I sounded that way that wasn't my intention. Hell, you're one of the ones who registered so it'd kinda be dumb if I was going to get pissy at you. EDIT: By the way, thats awesome I didn't know you were from Edmonton. |
