| IronMassoholic | Thanks for the compliments. The fat picture was from August 2006 and the other from a couple of weeks ago. I weigh about 170lbs in both pictures, give or take several Budweisers and pizza, which I no longer consume. Giving up the Vodka was the hardest, but one I am most proud of. Never considered myself an alcoholic, but I digress. |

| IronMassoholic | If someone tells you muscle doesn't have memory, I would say they are wrong. I was so far out of shape in the above picture and had already lost about 15 lbs from my highest point of 188lbs. My real training started in October after I filed for divorce and the wife moved to become someone else's problem, not mine. Dropping the alcohol was a big part in the weight loss, but the body recomposition is from the change to clean food and eating 5-6 times a day. There was never any 'clean' eating before, but now it's paramount. I cheat once a week, usually on Sundays when I eat my step-mom's cooking or go to the smorgasbord. When I started back, I wanted to know the latest supplements and it was like 'crea-what' ? I now take many supplements, no PH or AAS. The test boosters and anti-aromatase have helped tremendously, especially at my age. But short of my strength, I am in better shape now, then I was 20 years ago when I last competed. I need a drink, where is my Xtend? |

| IronMassoholic | Who is Steve Nash? Too lazy to google it. Thanks for the compliments everyone. I am going to get some new pics soon, now that I have a real tan and have dropped a few more pounds of fat. Soon, i will be able to have a drink by the pool, but it won't be a budweiser. Warm weather is hard to come by here in PA, except today it may hit 76. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 57 | Hey MacTech. I had similar results. I was 196 lbs when I quit smoking. My diet had been poor for years. That was 3 years ago. I am now 190 lbs. and coming off of a bulk. (176 lbs in my avatar. I think muscle memory is part of my success too. 20 years ago, I was doing some powerlifting and was in pretty good shape. Then life happened. Keep going, you are looking great. *

I have read your training log and you surely do work hard at it too and your condition shows it. I just recently got my dad to go back to training and he is 70. My son, who is 20, said he wants to look like me and will hopefully be training with me soon. Life keeps happenin' |
