Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 3 | I haven't even seen the inside of a gym since Feb 06 because of a messy divorce and restarting my life. But right now I am stationed in Korea for a year and hope to get my workout back on track. I have never worked out very consistantly, as you can see by my small size, but again something that I am hoping to rectify with this tour. My biggest obstacle will be food. I have to eat at a chow hall (cafeteria) and, as such, I am limited to what they serve. I try to eat as healthy as I can there, with a vegetable, fruit, and protein at every meal while limiting my carb intake. So here are some pics of me, ones that I am hoping will be a great before pics and hopefully have some better after pics ![]() All comments are welcome, and don't worry about hurting my feelings I have a pretty thick skin. | Mushroom Cloud Laying.... | Hey man... Sorry to hear about the divorce.. On the bright side, you are a very lean bodytype, so that isn't bad at all. Most would argue they would want to be thin and get big, than to start off fat. With you being lean, although nutrition is important, you just need to make sure you are getting ample calories, as much protein as possible, and get back into the gym. After a few months, maybe we will tweak the nutrition, but for people just starting out again, or whatever, i always tell them just to get to the gym and eat like a madman (as nutritionally balanced as possible)>

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 32 | Agreed.. with you being lean already.. why are you restricting carbs?? ... Not necessary, in my never humble opinion... If you want to try carb timing... Eat as little carbs as possible around 4 hours before you go to sleep... Unless you work out at nyght... If ya wanna get big... eat, eat, eat... that includes carbs... Welcome back to the gym!! Peace..~G

| Mushroom Cloud Laying.... | I love carbs and I have a lean physique like you. You can guestimate your limit... Carbs will be your friend though, I have added some good mass by having great amounts of carbs and protein...
