there is no good aka healthy foods in the house. its either chocolate bars, biscuits or salted chips :screaming and thats for the snacks. as for dinner, its basically anything cooked in the deep fryer, or soaked in oil and cooked. It can get frustrating. And lunches and that usually can only have a sandwich with cheese or heat up a frozen meat-pie in the mircowave. i tell ya, it is really hard trying to find something to snack on that has a little bit of nutrutional value I know i am bulking at the moment, but i shouldn't have to bulk with biscuits and oil. first off, it is really, REALLY unhealthly from my view, and secondly, i see it to be a pain. my dad and me might be going shopping tomorrow, if someone could post some good, healthly, nutritional foods i can buy for a fortnight, whether its snacks, things i can make for lunch, or dinner, that would be appreicated. anyway, sorry about the rant

| Silver Member | Richo, you are making progress so don't get discouraged. as far as nutrition, you are not alone in your plight. i personally think that the nutrition part of this building muscle stuff is 90 if not 95% of the battle. the training hard is easy if you are motivated and finding the balance is a difficult task. you just have to have faith and keep striving for that goal or quest and not let your mind stray from those goals. it is so easy to let this sport beat you into submission. if you have doubt and are easily disheartened, you won't ever reach your full potential. hang in there and keep on striving. Have a good day tomorrow. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 158 | It's not that you're the smallest, it's just that you're starting. You're every bit as 'big' as the bigger guys if you are dedicated to your lifting and nutrition. As for food, oil is actually good for you (olive oil). Definitely try to get your dad more nutrition minded when shopping, it would be good for the whole family. Sweet potatos, brown rice, eggs, chicken, natural peanut butter, tuna, peas/corn/veggies, oatmeal, milk, cottage cheese. Basically anything "wholesome" and unprocessed. If the ingredients only have one ingredient, then it's probably good for you ![]() I have absolute faith that you can achieve a great physique richo! You started young, something I only wish I could have done! Don't look at what you look like now, look at what you'll look like 5 years from now ![]()
