Here's a bulking pic I took a few weeks ago with me wearing my underarmor shirt. My v-taper looks creepy in this pic: ![]() Here's a summary of my extended back workout: 1. Pull Ups: 4 sets, 8-12 reps. 2. Cable Lat. Pulldown (narrow grip): 140-160 lbs, 3 sets, 8-12 reps. 3. T-Bar Row: 75-105 lbs, 3 sets, 8-12 reps. 4. Deadlifts: 135-255 lbs., 4 sets, 4-12 reps. (optional swap out/addition for days when I have time) 5. Cable Lat. Pulldown (wide grip): 150-170 lbs, 4 sets, 6-10 reps. 6. Cable Row: 140-160 lbs, 3 sets, 8-12 reps. 7. Hyper-extensions: 3 sets, rep to failure. (optional swap out with Deadlifts) I will sometimes swap out the T-bar Row for a seated machine row, or Bent Over Row (on a bench) with Dumbbells. I structure my workout as follows: Pulldown, Row, Lower Back, Pulldown, Row, Lower Back. I always start with pull-ups because I feel that is the best exercise for really getting your back to be wider. Pullups are for your back, like squats are for your legs, in my opinion. Start off with pullups and then train the other muscle groups accordingly. Hope that helps. - Skip ![]()
