Nice bro,

BUT.....sit down with your butt at the beginning of the movement and come up keeping your butt low and with your legs and back working together. You'll get a LOT more development in your legs and back, and you'll get stronger too....not to mention the fact that you will prevent back injuries.

Perfect advice as bad form can seriously do you in on dead lifts. Lower the weight and get it right if you need to.

i went and tryed them like EME said and they are easier that way

careful because sometimes you end up snagging your calves. You will only do it once or twice though. You hope .. LOL

Haha.. So true Dan.

I still have faint scars on the front of my shins from doing them nearly 20 years ago. Deadlift battle scars of all former powerlifters!

Ya, I think most people have that problem when they start doing deadlifts, I did. Once you get the form down you should be OK.

BTW, glad to hear you beat anorexia.

Ack! One of my favorite peices of equipment is the trap bar. I'm not a big fan of deadlifting with the olympic bar.
