Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 60 | Keep bulking, and do it as lean and clean as possible. Now is the time to bulk up while you're young and have high test levels. Cutting at this point wouldn't yield a great result IMO.

| Pro Stature | I'm doing 5x5 right now on everything and since I'm in school my diet sucks. I try to eat at least a 4 oz chicken a day and a few PB and J sandwhiches |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 60 | My suggestion would be to read up and start building your knowledge base. Just using 5x5 on everything is not going to get you anywhere if you don't understand the fundamentals of how to train properly and if you don't nail you form. Great books to read are "Starting Strength" by Mark Rippetoe, "Brawn" and the "Insider's Tell all Handbook on Weight Training Technique" both by Stuart McRobert. There are also lots of great articles on the web. Diet is 70-80% of the equation so if it sucks, then so will your results. A good general guide to training and diet is a book by John Hansen simply titled "Natural Bodybuilding". If you can only afford one book, that might be the one because it deals with diet as well as training and I think it's only like $14 on amazon. Even if you don't have the means to get your hands on optimal foods, you should be able to improve your diet. Canned tuna is pretty cheap, as are eggs, both great protein sources. 4 oz. of chicken is the tip of the iceberg for your protein requirements and pb and jelly is not a good idea for an everyday meal... it's horrible actually. Rice is a cheap carb source, so are plain oats, pasta is also cheap and not a bad choice when you're bulking as long as you keep the portions controlled... it is very calorie dense. What about junkfood? How do you do staying away from the processed crap and sugary treats?

| Pro Stature | I keep away from alot of chocolate and high sugar stuff. I do eat alot of pasta and rice and I do eat alot of tuna when I'm home on weekends. My goal for the buck is to get up to 180 and I'm at 167 right now so I've still got a month to go until I start on my cut that will go on for a few months. |
