Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 51 | OK Big D. I'll go through each pose and give you some pointers. 1) Most Muscular Always start every pose by getting the proper foot placement. With the most muscular you generally want to extend one leg slightly so you can flex it a little harder. You can do this by stepping forward with one foot and placing your weight down on the ball of the front foot. If you do a hands on hip most muscular you will have your feet together, but your knees will be slightly bent and you will be cranking your legs to the outside while keeping your feet on the floor and your knees straight ahead. This really brings out the separation in your legs. As for your upper body, you want to bend your arms a little more, stick out your chest and pull your shoulders back and out. The way you are currently doing it makes your shoulders look more narrow. You want to bring your shoulders back and out more. 2) Front Double Bi Get your foot placement correct first. If both legs are going to be on the floor, your heels and knees need to be closer together and you need to crank your thighs outward as desribed above. You can do a variation of this pose by leaning slightly to one side, or by extending one leg outward. Unless you have fantastic abs, do a vacuum with your stomach on this pose and keep your head up high. Your arms look fine. 3) Back Double Bi Bring your elbows a little more forward ( away from the camera ) and spread your lats as wide as you can. Lean back into this pose as the judges are generally below you and this gives them a better view of your back. Also, leaning back helps to flex the lower back more. I assume you are spiking your calf.. but I cant see it. ( your calves need to show in your pictures ) 4) Back Lat Spread First, your hands should be in front of your body on this pose, not behind it. Second, bring your elbows a little further in front of your body and really spread out your back as far as possible. This is another one that you want to lean back on to flex the lower back. 5) Front Lat Spread. Set your feet as I discussed above on the Front Double Bi. Heels and Knees closer together.. cranking your thighs to the outside and you keep your knees facing almost straight ahead. Vacuum your stomach in and keep your head up high. 6) Side Chest First, your Left hand needs to be on TOP of your Right Arm, not underneath it. You press down with the top hand and push up with the arm underneath to get a good bicep contraction. Second, pull your elbow back more so your body doesn't look as narrow. The top hand on top of your arm should be right at your waist and you should be popping up and out and your chest as much as possible. Your front leg ( facing the camera ) should be spiked so your calf is flexed. Your back leg should be aligned so that your feet are almost even. You should be pressing on the inside of the hamstring facing the audience with the back leg, to create the nice line of separation between your thigh and hamstring from the front. 7) On the Side Tricep, your feet should be aligned the same as I described above. The arm you are flexing should have the hand facing almost straight down, with the back of the hand facing the camera, and the palm facing away from the camera. Your hand should be cupped slightly and your rear hand shoud be balled up and should fit into the cupped hand in the front. You can interlock the fingers on both hands if you want to, but its not necessary. Think of catching a baseball in your bare hand.. the hand in front should be catching, and the hand in the back should be the baseball. 8) On the Ab and Thigh.. you need to have one Thigh extended and flexed toward the judges. Put your weight on the ball of the extended foot and flex it similar to the way I described in the Most Muscular above. Crank down on your abs as hard as you can and blow out all the air in upper body to get as tight as possible. Look over those pointers and let me know if you have any questions! :nosthumbs - EME

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 51 | Yes, but not pointing too far outward.. just slightly. The real trick is to keep your knees facing almost forward, but to crank your thighs to outside.. that's the best way I can describe it. This will really bring out the separation in your legs and give you much more of a thigh sweep. - EME Quote:

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 51 | It's not really that your shoulder blades need to come "down", it's that you need to spread your back out more. First, moving your hands in front of your body will make a difference. Second, bringing your elbows more forward will help widen the spread of your back too. As for your earlier post about the Side Chest... Your hand placement is better.. but keep your head straight up, spike the calf on the leg facing the audience ( camera ), and change your foot placement so your back foot isn't staggered back there. The back foot should be almost even with the front foot, but moved back just far enough so that you can press out the hamstring on the front leg with your back leg. - EME Quote:

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 51 | Well.. not exactly. First, make fists with your hands, extend your thumb, and use it to grip your body. Move your hands up higher so that your thumbs are digging into your obliques, not on your hips, and your fists are in front of your body. Next, get your head UP. Your head should never be down in ANY pose. Your head should be up high. You should not be hunched over in this pose... in fact, just the opposite. You should actually be leaning backward. Start by digging your thumbs into your obliques with your fists in front of your body. Lift up your shoulders like you are doing a shrug, and then spread your lats and bring your elbows forward... As you are spreading your lats... lean backward into the pose to flex your lower back and put your weight on your hamstring that is extended in the back.. Remember, you should be leaning slightly backward and your head should be up high.... never hunched over forward. - EME
