then here i am november 06, here i was serious, but not working to my full potential. here i am 20 and about 155 lbs

i would love to post up some pics of now, after i changed my diet and started to seriously work on whats goin on but convienently my camera charger went awol. so keep posted as i look to find it. now i am 21 and about 163 lbs. i also have the clear advantage of being skinny, which in my opinion sucks bc for me its really hard to gain mass.

How is your diet? How much protein are you taking in a day????

If you are training really hard, your diet is probably the thing that will give you the biggest gains.. Seeing that you are naturaly lean you probably have a fast metabolism, which means you will have to take in a pretty decent amount of calories to get into the caloric surplus required to add mass..

my diet is pretty ok. i consume about 250grams of protein a day and i eat about 3500-4000 cal. a day. im gonna start seriously scrutinizing my diet, also any suggestions are welcome. i was also told to just eat and eat, like no matter what it is, even if its fast food, but there is just something about filling my body with all that crap. idk. and yeah my metabolism is really fast.

I agree... eating just anything, Mc Donalds etc is not the way to go...

Kind of defeats the purpose of working out to stay in shape.

Try ramping your protein up to 330 grams a day. and if you like rice, that's great cause it's healthy, and cheap as dirt. You can eat a few big bowls a day, and ad some serious calories... a few tablespoons of olive oil a day is great for you, and will add 120 calories per tablespoon. I wouldn't go over 3 though, unless you like sitting on the throne..

once you are getting the 330 grams of protein a day, just keep adding rice, or whatever other carbs you want till you start gaining consistantly on the scale.. if when you look inth e mirror most of your gains apear to be fat, then cut back a little on the carbs...

If you gained fat easily I would say go with brown rice, but since you have a fast metabolism I say go with whichever one you like most, or alternate..
