Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | I didn't think I would be able to do the show. A week after the first shot, I wound up in the Hospital with a blown L5-S1 and indescribable pain. I did nothing for 1 week and slowly worked back enough to do the show. I ended up with 4th out of 16. BF was about 8% and could have be a lot leaner and dryer if not for the injury. I have some more front shots, Ryan. I'll post them up later and very soon it will be back to work to make a couple more runs post op. Thanks for the comments guys. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 37 | Ya you look really good even at 4 weeks out. I was always under the impression that you had to be like less than 5% to do good in a show lol. Quick question, what would you advise on best way to get bigger traps cause that is what I am having serious prolems wiht. |

Bump the shruggs and DL. I love the shrug machines and can't stand doing barbell shruggs. I just feel all out of wack in that position. I started getting the best result when I started going slower and holding the contraction at the peak for about a second before I would release. Same with side lats and front raises. Slow up, hold and slow down. Once every couple weeks I would do a quick blowout set just to mix things up. Some people like to do standing rows and say it works your traps. Altohugh it may, they kills my cuffs. Click, pop and click, pop for me. | |
