Who has plans to compete in the future? - Page 6

I don't really ever plan on competing. I still of course respect people who bodybuild/powerlift and compete because it's a lot of hard work and dedication. But with bodybuilding or powerlifting competitively, I just don't like the sports.

I am doing my first show in Toronto with Fame in June. I am in my second week of a pre-contest diet. 12 weeks out. I am going to be in the Grandmasters (58 years young). Little nervous but really looking forward to the experience. This show will be for experience only as I have only been seriously working out for the past two years but I think for my age and experience I look OK. One thing that I have noticed is that BB is a real addition and being on this diet is like being high on something. I don’t know any other way to explain it. It really tests your self being.

I suppose this years IMPC will be my first competition. As far as stepping on stage, I would love to someday. I'm a pretty outgoing person so I can imagine it would be a really fun experience for me. Thankfully the IMPC will give me some pre-contest experience so that I won't be totally clueless when it comes time to prep for a stage show.

Capital City Natural Bodybuilding Championships in Elk Grove, CA. I'll be competing in Masters and Novice divisions.

I'm pretty sure I'm doing the IMPC too.

Right on Julia! IMPC will be a great warm up for your show. Get all the kinks out now so you can feel more confident on stage. Looking forward to seeing compete.
