| IMPC Contestant | I am going to do a log on my prep for my 1st on stage Bodybuilding contest. I am very excited to get started but yet already very nervous. I havent been this motivated in a long time! I have Derek "The Beast" and Team Scivation on my side so I know I will do well. This log will include my diet, workout, supplementation, measurments, monthly pics and my thoughts. This is going to be a very new experience for me. As most of you know, I have competed in online contest but being onstage is a whole new world for me. I hope everyone will subscribe to my log, ask questions, make crunstructive suggestions and show support. I want to thank Marc Lobliner and Derek for EVERYTHING they have done for me and what they will continue to do for me. I will post my beginning stats and pics and all that very soon. Thanks everyone! | IMPC Contestant | I am aiming for the Caveman and/or the Muscle Mayhem next year. They are in May I think so I wont be ready for the upcoming shows but for sure in 2009. If Derek says I am ready I will do a "warm up" show but I am leaving everything up to him.

| IMPC Contestant | I am sure you will my friend and i appreciate that! You can help me keep my tail in line! I want to start right now but my back still isnt ready, I am getting better but standing for more than 10minutes it starts to hurt bad. I must have really done a good job. I am going to give it until Monday, if it isnt 100% or at least better than it is now, I am going in for the MRI.

| IMPC Contestant | After work I hit the gym. I drank my NO2 as I drove home to change, man that stuff is potent! lol Mixed my 8 scoops Xtend and 1 scoop EAA, I also had 2 scoops BLAST! with this for energy. Today was Chest and Tricep day. It wasnt much but I had a good time with it. CHEST Flat BB 275lbs 3 x 8 Incline DB 70, 80, 90 X 8 Incline fly 40lbs 3 x 8 TRICEPS 1 arm cable press down 80lbs 3 x 8 Lying 1 arm DB ext 27.5lbs 3 x 10 Close grip bench 135lbs 3 x 10 I felt great but had the most insane and painful pumps. My muscles felt like they were going to rip off the joints. Not sure what that was, maybe a response from my 2 week lay off...? I have my diet ready, sent it to Derek for final approval and start it as soon as I hear back from the BEAST.

| IMPC Contestant | Today I did Back and Biceps. I am sore as heck already, taking over 2 weeks off has made these old muscles tired. lol I took my 8 scoops Xtend, 1 scoop EAA, 2 scoops BLAST! This mixture has my workouts going strong. Cant seem to get enough. BACK Pull ups 3 x 8.... bodyweight Pull downs to rear 3 x 8.... 120lbs Hammer strength rows 4 x 8.... 315lbs Hammer strength pull downs 4 x 8.... 200lbs (or 100lbs each side) BICEPS BB curls 3 x 8.... 80lbs 1 arm DB preacher curl 3x8.... 30lbs Thats it, nothing dramatic or super. Just basic stuff. I will be following the Tri-Phase workout by SCIVATION soon. Right now I am just getting get back in shape a tad before I hit it hard and also to give my lower back more time to heal up.

| IMPC Contestant | Today was the ever so loved "LEG" day. I went easy today so i wouldnt be so dang sore tomorrow. I mixed my 8 scoops Xtend, 1 scoop EAA and 2 scoops BLAST! and drank during the workout, I added 1 scoop Creaform to the last few swallows of my drink and finished it off after my workout. Diet was ok other than my trip to Golden Coral.. i had Chicken: 10 wings, 4 legs, 1 thigh Beef: 1 slice roast Bread: 3 rolls with honey butter Desert: 1 slice chocolate cake Drink: 3 pepsi I dont even wanna know the calories.... at all. I am so VERY hungry all the time, i cant seem to stop eating but the thing is, when i eat what I did above i feel very sick and wanna vomit but when i eat clean it makes me feel so very good. I normally can stick to a diet fairly well but the start of this diet is a tad harder for some reason. No worries, i will get it in check soon. On to todays workout: Legs Warm up 3 sets of 10 leg ext 60lbs Leg press 4 x 8 585lbs, 675lbs, 765lbs, 765lbs 1 leg press 4 x 10 135lbs each leg 1 leg ext 3 x 10 105lbs each leg Thats it. Nothing to it really. I just wanted to get some blood in there and get things moving again.

| IMPC Contestant | 11/20/2007 I am off work from both jobs today... finally able to get some much needed sleep. I ate meal 1 then waited an hour then off to the gym! I started Tri-Phase today and I love this workout! I wanted to do more but realize more isnt better. So i did the workout as instructed and loved it. Pre and during workout 8 scoops Xtend, 1 scoop EAA, 2 scoops BLAST! Tri-Phase Day 1 Back and Traps Deadlift 2 X 6-10.. no deads today, my back isnt 100% just yet Pull-Up 2 X 8-10.. Bodyweight Bent Over Row 2 X 8-10.. 225lbs both sets BB Shrug 2 X 10.. 315lbs both sets DB Shrug 2 X 10.. 120lbs both sets Standing calves 2 X 10.. 300lbs both sets I really liked the feeling I had, nice pump and could "feel" the muscles working. I will add deads in next week for sure but they will be light to start. I will add a set to each workout until I get to 5 sets as outlined by Derek. DIET My diet is great today, but I was about to eat my PWO meal of: 4oz whiting 3 tbsp peanut Butter 3.25oz apple 2/3 cup brown rice (cooked) BUT.. I was sitting down to eat and dropped it all on the floor so I am having to cook more fish, this meal will be 1hr late sadly. Other than that, I am feeling top notch and ready for more!

| IMPC Contestant | Sorry for the delay in posting. My wifes Grandmothers funeral schedule is hectic. A ton of people from the USA, Samoa and New Zealand are attending, there is a lot of traditional stuff to do so i have been busy helping. I got a decent workout in yesturday but sadly i was pressed for time and did what i could with no spotter. Chest + Shoulder Bench Press 2 X 8 with 275lbs Incline DB Press 2 X 8 with 75lbs Dips 2 X 8 with BW+ 90lbs DB Press 2 X 8 with 70lbs DB Side Lateral 2 X 8 with 30lbs Standing calf raise 2 x 10 with 300lbs Diet was way off, i had to purchase Whiting fish because they were out of Tilapia... good lord whiting stinks and the flavor is nasty. I am tossing it all out, the whiting is aweful. I will eat nothing but Tilapia from now on. The Thanksgiving Holiday and the Funeral have me running around like a mad man so diet will resume next week.

Awesome workout today, had a great time and felt terrific. Here is todays workout and diet info..... Back + Traps Deadlift 2 X 6 315lbs Pull-Up 2 X 6 BW + 25lbs Bent Over Row 2 X 10 225lbs BB Shrug 2 X 10 225lbs DB Shrug 2 X 10 150lbs each hand Diet Meal 1 8 egg whites 4tbsp peanut Butter 2 tbsp raisins 2slc whole grain toast 8oz NON FAT milk Meal 2 4oz Tilapia 3 tbls peanut Butter 3.25oz apple 2/3 cup brown rice (cooked) Meal 3 4oz Tilapia 3 tbls peanut butter 2/3 cup brown rice (cooked) 1 cup steamed asparagus Meal 4 4oz Tilapia 3 tbls peanut butter 2/3 cup brown rice (cooked) 1 cup steamed asparagus Meal 5 Missed... went grocery shopping, ended up eating buffalo wings there. (oops) Meal 6 4oz Tilapia 3 tbls peanut Butter 1 cup steamed green beans Pre workout drink: 2 scoops NO2 + 2 scoops Xtend During workout: 8 scoops Xtend + 1 scoop EAA That was todays journey. I cant wait to hit the gym again tomorrow, I really like the Tri-Phase workout, it really hits hard and I feel pumped and strong during the workouts.

I decided to train late today, I have a buddy that I like to train with so I can go as heavy as possible while still being safe but he cant be there until 8pm. Diet was 100% today. I wanted a Jr. Burger from Sonic BAD but my lovely wife, samoangirl, said " I dont like my old fat husband, I like the new one I have now, so get those burgers out of your head because you aint gettin them!"
