I still have a week of training and dieting fun ahead of me... I'm off to the gym right now to do some HIIT on the exercise bike. Fun stuff.

I'll post my post-IMPC plans and write my essay on 'what the IMPC means to me' later.

I feel fawkin awesome for doing what people didn't feel I could do. Fawk the haters and let their ignorance fuel your workouts and diet. nice work sc. I too will be done from impc after this year. i must get more time to get ready for the stage and i can`t afford to not take advantage of the offseason. so i applaud your stance an good luck on your quest.

All three of us are on the same page. Being as I'm now 34, I need more time to build significant mass for competition. That's how it goes when one decides to become a competitive bodybuilder in their 30s. I plan to take 18-24 months in my next off season and stay 10% or below as I build mass slowly. My goal is to add 20 lbs of lean mass and be very lean at the start of my next prep, which I will start WAY out, probably 26-30 weeks. I have a vision for the conditioning I want to achieve, and the IMPC has been great for teaching me what I need do in order to get there. Next time I prep, I will achieve the dream.

I won't rule out future IMPCs, as long as it happens to coincide with whatever other contests I intend to do, but there's no way I come back in 2008. However, I will always be here to cheer on the contestants, and help out with the contest in any way that I can.

It's the night before my pics and I'm starting on my SECOND gallon of water. No dehydration for me this year!

Tomorrow I get up at 6am, start carb loading, drive over to Harvard to take a mid-term exam at 9am, and then get back home to continue the carb load & take these darn pics. After that, I'm off to an Italian food carb orgy!! I'll be drinking Sangria, baby!! I most likely won't have my pics up until late tomorrow night... hopefully I'm not too drunk to work the computer. Wouldn't it suck if I passed out and missed the deadline? :friday:

Your sad attempt at a Jedi mind trick did not work... I am on my 3rd carb load meal, and filling out nicely. Still more filling out to do, not tanned up yet, and I'm not flexing too hard so I can conserve energy for the real deal, but here's a sneak peak, just to get the energy in the room up.
