Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 62 | The start of IMPC 2007 is less than two months away. Time to don the red bandana and sunglasses. If you're planning to compete, make yourself known along with which division you plan to enter. If you're on the fence, make that known too so I can pressure you into joining in. Spread the word and encourage others to participate. Speaking from my own experience, the IMPC is an awesome motivator. I would not have achieved my best ever physique without the IMPC. You don't have to be ripped and huge to do well, and everyone who achieves a personal best can walk away proud. I will be doing the open division this year. I wanna see competitors in the open that'll make me quake in my boots. I wanna see Viperspit, DJohnson, and Hybridx in the open!!!! leanmass, I wanna see you in the open; you'll keep all of us on our toes!!! Skelooth, I'm calling you out too big boy!! ![]()

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 8 | At this point I plan on competing in the open division. After finishing the contest at about 208 with a 38" waist and 14 or 15% bodyfat (Tanita bodyfat scale) I got my butt in gear and got serious. I am now down to 181 with a 30 3/4 waist and between 5% and 8% (on the same bodyfat scale). At 5 1/2 weeks out from my first on stage contest I am not quite where I would like to be, but at least I won't enter the IMPC 40 lbs overweight this year. I'm looking forward to the contest this year. I am anxious to see how everyone is doing.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 62 | Sounds like you're making great progress Oldrookie!!! Last year the open only had two competitors who saw it through to the end; I think we'll see a much bigger open division this year. It's gonna be a clash of the titans!!!

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 8 | I would encourage anyone considering the contest to give it a shot. Sometimes a contest and deadline could be the key to really turning your physique around. I'm sure many of you have some similar experiences, but I have an old friend from high school who was a stud football player who became paralyzed from the neck down this past summer. Over time that has become a huge inspiration for my exercise because (to go along with my quote from Prefontaine below) I realize that I have the gift and privilage of a healthy body and I feel like a loser when I am lazy and folks like my buddy would give anything to be able to run and lift. I guess my point is, find something meaningful to you to get you motivated. Then we will see you in April.

I have a much better trophy supplier now, so I won't have the issues with that this year! Also, just to let out a little sneak preview We are going to have a seperate Women's Division in Bodybuilding and a Women's Figure Division this year . More info coming soon! - EME

| FDU Devils Weightlifter | I'm definitly doing Most Improved Again. Can't say 100% sure how much I'll put into changing diet, but with warmer weather comes more GPP, and more GPP equals a less fat jew. :-D even so I offer this statement to my competitors: ya'll are going down now, ya here?

| FDU Devils Weightlifter | and madman, I'm stealing that red bandana and sunglasses from you. look for it in the first set of pictures. Also, EME, someone brought up the idea of a Powerlifting section to the IMPC. Any idea's on that? We could videotape the lifts and such and say, show a newspaper for the date. I think that would be really interesting and cool to see.
