This winner of this division will be the competitor who makes the most significant improvement to their overall physique during the contest period. All factors such as fat loss, muscle gained, and improvement in overall appearance will be considered. Rules and Procedures. Competitors must submit pictures during each month of the competition. All pictures must be submitted by the 10th of each month. No pictures will be accepted after the 10th. A special date coded image will be posted by the first of each month in the IMPC Forum. Competitors must include one photo in the front relaxed position, holding this downloaded image so that it is clearly visible. The photo with the downloaded image must be taken in the same setting and attire as the rest of the photos submitted for that month. Instruction in the mandatory poses for Figure can be found here: Fitness and Figure Posing Guide It is the competitor's responsibility to learn the proper way to perform each pose. In the months leading up to the competition, competitors may wear shorts for their progress pictures. However, Posing Trunks WILL BE REQUIRED to be worn in the final picture submissions for all Bodybuilding competitors. A Two Piece Figure competition suit must be worn in the Final submitted pictures for the Figure Division. This is an absolute requirement. Competitors in the Bodybuilding and Figure Divisions who do not submit final pics wearing regulation posing suits will be disqualified. This includes: Proper Posing Trunks Removal of visible body hair Proper contest color Presentation will be judged in the 2007 IMPC Bodybuilding Competition. Any competitors not properly preparing will be significantly penalized. Monthly submission of pictures is a VERY important part of this competition. This competition is for active IronMass members. We do not want competitors entering who have not been involved throughout the entire contest period. Missed picture submissions in the 2007 competition will severely impact your final score. Any competitor who misses more than 3 picture submissions over the duration of the competition will be disqualified. No new competition entries will be accepted after July 10th. Any competitor entering the competition late, will be penalized for the prior months they missed and these will count toward the three total allowed missed submissions, regardless of whether or not they miss any submissions after entering. Judging All divisions of the competition will be judged fairly by a knowledgeable panel of IronMass member judges. All judging will be done independently based on a pre-determined list of criteria appropriate to the particular division being judged. All decisions of the judges are final. Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 12 | I'm sure I already know the answer to this - but I need to ask anyway. I am on HRT (medically prescribed, over a year now) - Androgel. Does this throw me out of the novice division? FYI - before I went on the gel, I had the T levels of a normal 70 year old! My latest tests put me back in the "normal" range for someone my age (38). Anyway, I need to know in order to make a decision on where to enter... not sure I'm up to snuff for the "open" division. Thanks, Mark |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 51 | Mark, If you are using any type of HRT you will only be eligible for the Open Bodybuilding Division, and/or the Most Improved Physique Division. In the interest of fairness to all competitors, the Novice Men's Bodybuilding Division, and the Women's Bodybuilding and Figure Divisions, will be strictly hormone free. - Michael Quote:

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 51 | Yes, all bodybuilding Divisions will post the same mandatory poses each month. Also for clarification, Figure competitors must post the 4 quarter turn positions, and the "Front Relaxed" pose each month. NOTE: the Front Relaxed Pose for Figure is NOT the same as the front relaxed pose for Bodybuilding or the MIP Divisions. Instruction in the mandatory poses for Figure can be found here: Fitness and Figure Posing Guide - Michael Quote:

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 3 | So for the open class competition, is the judging based only on the final pics in the final competition condition (Nov), or are the monthly progress reports taken into acount like in the "Most improved" competition? |
