Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 60 | Conditioning will no doubt be the deciding factor in this years competition. I think anyone who really wants to place well will have to be contest condition ripped in November. It will be a matter of who has the will to do what it takes. Who can resist feasting at backyard BBQs this summer, with the beer... my god, the beer. As we come down to the wire, who will have the discipline to adhere to a true contest prep protocol of 2X a day cardio sessions + lifting, all on very low calories and correspondingly low energy. I'd also say presentation will be another huge factor. You can be ripped to heck but if your posing stinks it won't come across and someone who isn't as ripped but poses well will have you beat. I plan on instituting plenty of posing practice throughout my prep. Honestly, I hope all competitors have what it takes and it's a very, very close competition. I don't care who wins, I just want to see every competitor BRING IT in November. If we show the online bodybuilding world that the IMPC is a serious, highly competitive contest, it could become a phenomenon. My pics are coming within the next couple of days. Hey, wouldn't it be funny if after this speech I just made, I come in fatter than I am right now and actually drinking a beer in my November photos. :beerdrink |

I figure I have about 30 lbs to lose, if not 35, to come in completely ripped. I believe in cutting real slow, on the order of 1 lb/week, so I should have just about enough time to get it done. My goal is 5-7% BF for the comp. I'm around 190ish right now at 19% so my competition goall weight is 155-160. Last year I weighed 158 at the end of my cut and I was 12-13% BF so I have put on a lot of mass with my last bulk. Now, I just have to keep it all.:nosthumbs | |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 6 | I honestly think that it will be a very close one for the MIP. There are some very motivated people who are hungry to transform their bodies.

Just add an additional post in your thread indicating that you are going to also do the Novice Bodybuilding catagory, and post your bodybuilding poses. As long as it's before the 10th, your fine. Good Luck! - EME

Nope, Kendra doesn't have to do that much cardio to get in contest shape. She does about 4, 30-45 minute sessions, and 3 1hr Fitness routine practices per week, in addition to her weight training . That usually does it for her. She doesn't do any morning cardio. She only gets about 10-12 pounds over her contest weight in the offseason though, so she doesn't usually have that much to burn off. I, on the other hand....... have to do LOTS of cardio to get in contest shape, including 5:00 AM morning cardio 5 days per week. - EME
