Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 45 | Thanks a ton guys! I'm still holding to my promise of better pictures with better color and more cut in 4-5 weeks though! Man I would not have wanted to judge that thing. Two months out I was thinking almost noone would be finishing, boy was I wrong. Everyone looked great!

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 41 | Congradulations everyone! The placings seem pretty spot on to what I predicted, nice job judges! Placing fourth, one out of top 3, will make me hungrier for next year. It was a blast competing with you guys, thanks EME for being the biggest sponsor and for running the contest.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 60 | Congratulations to everybody who competed!!! We all have a lot to be proud of. I hope to see a lot of the same faces next year, along with a new crop, and I may even throw my hat into ring again, in the open division, and see if I can pry next year's trophy out of Viper's talons. Look at that, the smack talk for 2007 is starting already... how about that? Recruit as many people as you can to next year's IMPC... it's gotta grow!! Let me just add that, YAHOO... I'm psyched out of my friggin' skull to have placed 1st!! I honestly never focused on winning, I new it was very possible if I pushed myself to my limits, and that was ultimately what I focused on. I still look at my pics and just shake my head thinking "that can't be me"... this has to be some weird dream I'm going to wake from any minute... I'll wake up and brush the pizza crumbs off my chest before I roll my fat butt over and fall back to sleep. It's not a dream though, is it... I really did this!!! Tomorrow, my goal is to undo all of my progress in 24 hours of eating and beer swilling!!

| Incognito | Congrats to all who've competed and placed as well. I'll post this now before I'm too many beers into the night. You've all done a spectacular job getting ready for the finals. I know you've heard that a million times already but look around you in your everyday life. Do you not look better than most if not all the people you deal with on a day to day basis? Good, I thought that would put things in perspective for you. ![]() As for me, I am so happy I could..... well that would be censored. Michael (my Trainer), told me from the start, that I would have to come in ripped if I even wanted a chance against these big guys. Me thinking, wtf, I'm 6'4" 230+ at the time, I'm not small I didn't think. Well after I looked at all the initial photo's, I was humbled quite quickly. I went into this event, wanting the Gold, thinking that I could do what it takes to get there. I sincerely busted my ass in the gym, day in and day out follwoing Michaels protocol for both diet & training to get me in the best shape that I could be by this time period. So, I have to thank Michael Elias as my trainer to get me here today. I also have to thank my lovely wife, FitnFirm for being my workout partner, advisor, friend, and all around prep head chef of our meals throughout. I love ya baby, you've done a excellent job yourself and have been rewarded. In closing, I'd like to say it's been a pleasure meeting all of you great people and competing against each other. HybridX, you were a tough person to go up against to say the least, with all the mass you have going for you at your height. I wish you all the best in your on stage competition coming up, I know you will kick some ass. Thanks to all the Judges for putting in their time for this competition, we appreciate your work. My best to all and go Team Torture ![]() Last edited by Viperspit : 11-23-2006 at 02:01 AM. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 39 | Congrats to all! Great job! I agree that this competition needs to grow and at this point I would do it again in a heartbeat. The judges definately had some tough choices. I want to thank the judges, EME and sponsors once again. Great job. Just like Ayung said this has fueled the fire and my training has already started. It's on IMPC 07!

You looked awesome even with a little spillover FnF and I know you're going to keep making killer progress. I was showing some of your photos to my wife and telling her how cool I think you are... she said "Damn she looks really great" and she couldn't believe it when I told her your age. Hybridx, it's on like Donkey Kong!!! Let's see if my short little 5' 7" frame can take down the big boys next year; David vs. Goliath style. I can't say 100% that I'll be in, it depends on my progress bulking and if I have a live show in my sights, but, if at all prudent, I will take a little detour from bulking to cut down for IMPC 2007. AYung bro, you impressed the hell out of me and after a lean bulk, you're going to be a dangerous, dangerous man next year with the conditioning you achieve. DJohnson, always a bridesmaid and never a bride... lol. Next year man, if you do the IMPC, I expect to see your butt in the open division and next year don't buy a tanning product with a Gene Wilder "oompa loompa" on the container, okay? Just joshing with you man... you're a big boy, with the right conditioning you would have had me owned. Spaceclown, you will make awesome progress over the next year, just as you did over this one. You will tea bag the competition for sure next year!!! I want to see every single 2006 competitor return for next year; we all have done some awesome work, but it is work that is NEVER finished... we cannot stop pushing each other. I want to compete in live shows, but the IMPC has a special place in my heart now... I will compete, coach, or do whatever I can to keep contestants coming into the IMPC and improving their lives.
