2006 IMPC Announcement

( No, not the results yet.... but they are coming soon! )

The announcement I have to make is that ALL competitors who completed the 2006 competition and submitted their final pics will be receiving Sculpted trophies, courtesy of MichaelandKendra.com.

The top three in each class will have their Name, Divison, and Placing engraved on the plaque.

The additional finalists in each class will have their Name and 2006 IMPC Competitor engraved on their plaque.

You guys all did a fantastic job and deserve it.

Note, it may take a while to get the trophies to you all, because I'm having them specially engraved and needed to wait to order them until I knew how many competitors would make it through all the way to the final submission.

When I have an estimated delivery date I will let you all know.

I will be contacting each of you individually to get your name for the plaque and your mailing address for shipment.

I am very impressed that you are doing this for all of the competitors. It must be extremely tough doing the judging. I am personally very glad that I am not one of the judges.

I know many people don't think much of trophies, but as a coach and athlete they mean so much to me because of what they represent. They represent the hard work, dedication and devotion toward a goal that athletes put forth. I am humbled to be receiving one, but I think it will provide me an even greater incentive to continue my bodybuilding endeavor. I will strive onward until I reach the condition I feel I should be in and feel worthy of such an award.

After I did my last post I had some more thoughts. I figured this would be a good spot to congratulate all of the competitors.

We live in a society where so many of us are overweight and out of shape that it has become a health care nightmare. All of you competitors have proven that commitment to proper nutrition and exercise programs can alter that disturbing trend and I applaud all of you for that.

Hopefully many more people will see some of your transformations and decide to make their own personal commitments to a healthy lifestyle. If only for that reason alone I believe EME is justified in awarding each and every one of you. Congratulations all and don't let your physique journey end here.
