Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 50 | Pumped and ready to go. I think I FINALLY stumbled on the cold hard facts about my body at the start of this month. For the past 6 months or so I've been constantly injuring myself which was keeping my out of the gym for long periods of time (once 3 months!!). I couldn't even walk normally with the back injury I had that entire time. I think all along it boiled down to overtraining. HIIT every weekday morning. Heavy lifting 3-4 times a week with crazy volume. Brazillian Jiu Jitsu twice a week. My body just couldn't handle it. I'm going back to the tried and true method I used in 2006. Medium intensity cardio weekday mornings and Max-OT. Lift to failure but low volume. Hmmm, I think I'm gonna have to work on the poses again too. Haha. This time around I think I'm much bigger though and know exactly what I'm doing, so watch out!

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 50 | Thanks! Probably mainly due to two things: a) Even when I was 245lbs I was pretty active. Running around, playing soccer, lifting weights. Just holding myself upright was a pretty good workout. Then as soon as I started losing weight I was eating a good diet and lifting legs heavy squats, etc. b) As soon as I started lifting weights when I was 16 I'd do a leg day at least every week because the rest of me was so sore. Didn't always lift weights when I was that young but enough to improve. Never did the whole chest+biceps only thing. ![]()
