Hey everyone!!!

I am so excited IMPC is back!!!!

I won MIP 8th last year, after a 2 year knee injury, but this time it's business!!!

It is so cool that there are some new faces, and it is even nicer to see some old ones!!!! (HybridX-my hubby

, Viper, Madman, SpaceClown, Dnc, Dawn, and where is Fitnfirm??!)

Yaaaaaaaaa! Glad you two are back this year you helped make this contest a lot of fun last year. :friday: Looks like you carried over the changes you made last year cause you seem much more fit to start this one. I have a feeling your really going to take it to another level this year.

Yeah! more couples... I can totally relate to the knee injury thing.. although it's taken 4 years to get to business...but better late than never .. right.. good luck! this is going to be alot of fun!

TeineSamoa and BB2K: Hello! And Welcome! The topic of injury touched my life significantly. One hot Miami night I fell on top of some rocks, with all my weight on one knee. After this horrid experience I spent close to three years limping, in excruciating pain, numbness, and as result, 30% muscle atrophy of my whole left leg. But I decided one day that with the help of God I was going to get out of this misery. i couldn't handle being 35 with three daughters and spending the rest of my life feeling sorry, so I started training my left leg individually for about 8 months with light weights, and no impact (no walking, no running, etc.) Then, I slowly introduced the bike and joined the IMPC last year. The competition made me focus on getting healthier and more in control of my body parts. And today I am back to jogging, (walking actually bothers me sometimes), and kick boxing, spinning, heavy weights, etc. I guess this is my story in three sentences!

So much for the handicap thread!!!
