Refuge - April 2007 Pics - Or lack there-of?

Hey guys, so I'm def in this thing again for my third year, I will be competing in the Novice and MIP divisions again....yet I have hit a stumbling block already....My mom won't let me put my pics up until I'm 18 (4/26) so, unfortunately there will be no april pictures from me. I am willing to take the deductions but I have a feeling I'll earn some of them back. Stay tuned for the debut. Best of luck!!!

Maybe you can take the photos, submit them privately to the admins, and have them posted after your birthday. That might be a reasonable compromise that could allow you to avoid the missing set penalty.

That's silly bro tell your mom you'll cut your face out for this month then. We'll still know it's you and no one could use your pics for ill purpose. How is one month going to make a difference anyway? It could cost you the whole comp this year by not since the competition is tough this year.

Yessir, I think EME will agree with me that they must be Live (especially being first photos & for the MIP) but if you want to submit them to either of us, we can "hold" them until your birthday and post them then.

I don't think you should go behind her back, but maybe explain your position that you are going to be training for the contest regardless of whether she allows you to snap a few pictures, ya know? Also, why not buy your own cheapo digital camera and snap some shots? I know I picked up a spare at a pawn shop for $25.

Your dedication is impressive!

Yes, you can submit them to either of us, as long as it is before the deadline and we will hold them to post until you turn 18 later this month.

Note: we would not do this if it wasn't a matter of just a few weeks, but in this case we can accomodate if this will work for you.

I'm hoping you catch a break with the late pictures. I'd like to see this thing decided by a raw comparison, not technicalities. Avitar is lookin good and you've got some experience, so this should be a good time. I'm looking forward to it
