Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 60 | The lighting isnt' the best. I had to improvise since I have no printer at home (that works anyway) for the time being, and I wasn't going to drive all the way into work to print it out. The statement I am posing with should prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that I took the pics today. I've put on 35 lbs since the 2006 IMPC finals and this will be my max weight for this off season. As of next week, I am in full contest prep mode. I'll be getting leaner each month from here on out.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 60 | Fit and CJ, I have made some very nice progress since last year. Thanks for noticing. ![]() If you look at my July pics from last year, I am actually considerably leaner now than I even was at that point. I am about as lean right now as I was when I started my 12 week prep in August of last year; I weighed 165 at that time, and now I weight 177. So I put on a solid 12 lbs of lean mass over the past 7 months while keeping relatively lean. This has been the most productive bulk of my brief bb'ing career. I've found approaches that work very well for me, so next off season is when I plan to actually become big. This year, I've decided to do my prep with Layne Norton. I had great results with EME last year, but I want to try some different things to see what works best and integrates most easily into my lifestyle. Layne likes to start his preps way out, and work slowly to preserve as much mass as possible. He also gets his clients ridiculously lean; we're talking elite conditiong. I will be nothing but veins and striations this time around. It's going to be one hell of a ride. Damn, my pics really are super dark this month. They looked much brighter on my monitor at home, but here at work I can barely see myself. Oh well, the final pics will be bright... 500 watts of halogen bright!!!

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 60 | Thanks for all the positive comments guys... you are all giving me great motivation to rip it up over the next 5 months. Tamilia: You will get to see some of my cutting diet, I'm not sure how much, since I'm working with a paid trainer who has his own trade secrets. Certainly, you'll at least get to see my macros. Hybrid: Thanks bro, that's really awesome of you to say and of course I hope you're right. I know I will be vastly improved from last year in both thickness and conditioning. The big guys will have to get crazy shredded, and have good proportions and symmetry to edge me out. As competitive as this field is, I'd be psyched with a top three finish. All I can do is give it 110% and let the chips land where they will.
