Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 8 | By the way - it wouldn't be fun at all, but you could lose the 20 lbs in 4 weeks.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 27 | FitnFirm, You are a such a pro at this! I'm with HybridX, I think you can drop the weight before your show. And, I KNOW you're bringing your "A" game in November. ![]() You've done a great job so far. Not only that, but you've set a good example to the rest of us BB noobs. Keep up the good work! |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 8 | Aim to lose about 5 to 8 lbs. of water pre-show. If you're accurate about needing to lose 20, then you'll be down to losing 12 to 15 lbs. That works out to 3 to 4 lbs. per week. You'd need to do about 2 hours of cardio a day, and cut your calories down to about 800/day right away. See how well you do in the first week, and then adjust from there. In the 4th week, you should lose the water in the last 3 days, and then carb up in the last 24 hours. As your carb goes down with your calories, you're going to drop some weight and you'll feel weak with your muscles - but they'll re-inflate when you carb up. I'd consume the bulk of your daily carbs about 1.5 hours before your workout, and cut out all carbs after 5pm. Say a 1/2 small yam for lunch, and steamed brocoli/caulifower (no butter/cheese/salt) for dinner. Be careful if you choose a fat burner on the really low calories, you might feel sick. That depends on your system, and you'll have to check it out. Anyways - it all sounds good in theory, but it will be very hard. Personally - I'd love to see you achieve it and get in your show in the condition you want to be in. ![]()

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 8 | Can you change your foods up? If you've been getting your protein from chicken, try switching to fish. Trying switching all of your food group sources, but keep the same %-ages and calorie count. Just a hunch that might help. Have you cut your salt intake? Maybe you could try 48-72 hours of ketosis. Do you do consistent cardio (bike all the time, etc?). You might want to change that as well. Convince your body it's in a completely different routine and has to keep shedding lipids. ![]()
