DawnMarie's July Update Pics - MIP,Female BB, Couples

I missed last month's pics due to waiting until the last minute and then being being sick and busy moving to a new house. This month, I've been sick on and off and finally went to the Dr Thursday and then was in bed until yesterday. I am thankfully feeling better today and started back with my WOs but needless to say I was NOT very enthused at all about taking these pics! *thanks MrDM for making me do it anyway

* As for lack of progress, well, with sporadic workouts and inconsistent diet it isn't surprising that I gained a little weight and went backwards

. I have no excuse for it other than me not making it happen. I just didn't have the focus and motivation. But the GOOD news is that I have my focus back, I am almost 100% healthy and hope there is still time to make a little progress before Nov if I work hard!

Glad to see so many still in this, you are all great motivators!

Hey DawnMarie! I happened to read your transformation story over at bb.com, and I wanted to tell you that it was really inspirational. You had such a balanced and healthy approach to taking control of your life -- glad you opted against the surgery. Seeing these pictures now just keeps making the story even better. Simply put, you are just beautiful, and that Mr. DawnMarie is one lucky guy to have gotten ahold of you.

Great to see your still in this DM!

Now that F&F dropped out it's just you and Dnyc99 for the BB title. She likes the motivation so make sure you stick around till the end so this can be fun! No worries about the small set back, judging by your success in the past you know exactly how to turn it up. Go DM Go! :gogo:

Glad to hear you're back on track DM... I am sure the stress of moving into a new place can lower your immune system, and also it can be tough to fit in workouts in times like that....

I don't know if this will help you, but when I know I will be real busy, and tempted to miss workouts for a period of time.. I workout first thing in the morning. I don't feel like I get as good a workout in the AM, and I don't like doing it then, but any workout is better than none, and I have found that in the very least it sustains progress..

LivinonLava - Thank you so much for the nice comments and the luck! I am also VERY glad I did not go for the gastric bypass and did it "the old fashioned way". I only wish I had better progress to show now for how much time has gone by since I hit my low weight. I've looked better before than I do now and that irks me...but in the big picture it is still MUCH better than being 282 lbs and in fear of my heath!

Yaz and AR - Thanks for your support! I don't think I am doing awesome but I am hanging in there and I WILL do awesome! "I think I can I think I can"...lol

DF - I didn't know it was just the two of us, I was surprised. I wasn't going to post final pics if I ended up not making progress as I didn't want to get a trophy i don't deserve just because there are few competitors. But since it is just us I will kick it up a notch and do my best to keep it fun and motivating for DNYC and I - thanks for the motivation DNYC, let's keep each other going!

Chi - Thanks..I haven't kicked ass in a long time, but I think it is about time - I am overdue! I think my WO today did the trick, I'm beat!

Bubba - Thanks, I am trying - no more sickness allowed! I definitely agree with your advice, somethign is always better than nothing! I try to get AM in mon - fri even when I am tired but had been skipping, I think I will try to do something even if very short. Sometimes you plan to WO later and then life gets in the way.
