Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 128 | I learned 2 things today 1) I suck at posing 2) I can't create a good lighting environment for the life of me... my back definition looks pathetic in these pics and you can barely make out my abs. These are not the final pics, so it's OK, but if anyone has ANY suggestions on either of those 2 topics, PLEASE let me know! I will be working hard on my posing + photo lighting for these next 7 months and I would appreciate any advice ![]() Here are the pics. 1)Photo download 2)Front Relaxed 3)Left Relaxed 4)Right Relaxed 5)Back Relaxed |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 61 | Lookin' thick Dav... you've got a great foundation to work with. As far as lighting and getting perfect shots... you'll never capture all the detail of real life unless maybe you have pro photography equipment. Even though I achieved really good lighting for my final pics last year, I still didn't capture the real life detail of my physique. As you get leaner, you'll find that you start looking good in virtually any light. I'd purposefully take pics of myself in unflattering light during my contest prep last year just so I could really see how lean I was. If you look shredded in direct, face on bright light, then you're diced. My lighting set-up consisted of a 500 watt halogen construction light I bought at home depot for $10. I put it on a tripod, but however you do it... get it in front for you, overhead and angled down... it'll look great. But it is bright... you gotta be shredded and dark or it'll wash out your definition.
