Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 128 | Weight this morning - 138lbs It's been quite a run... firstly I'd like to thank madman for coaching me through this, I would've been completely lost without your advice (especially during the last week/contest day!!). I am very happy with the results I achieved, I am definitely leaner than I ever have been. The difference between even two weeks ago is incredible and it was amazing to watch my body transform on pretty much a daily basis towards the end. I was hanging out with a friend last night who hadn't seen me in two weeks, and he said my face looked sunken in and anorexic, lol ![]() To sum up my thoughts on this contest: The friendly competition is awesome motivation... Training is fun and I don't mind the diet (getting some definition to show up in the pictures was harder than actually getting the definition in the first place). I don't mind shaving... but I really don't like the fake tan!! I used a spray on and while it did make me look more presentable immediately, it was just ridiculous to work with. Whatever though, it's just for one day, right? ![]() Overall I didn't do bad for my first time, but I know I can do better. Peaking is hard and I might have even peaked a few hours before I took my pics. Now that I have a little experience, I'm sure that if I want to do this again it'll make more sense. Anyways, onto the pictures.... and then off to make a candybar milkshake accompanied by lots of peanut butter out of the jar ![]() Last edited by davtown : 11-11-2007 at 01:48 AM. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 128 | also.... I was hitting PRs on my lifts until 2 weeks out... then I stopped attempting. That was cool ![]() I'm not 100% sure what my training is going to be like yet, I need to evaluate where I'm at and form my goals first. When I have them written down I will start a new log, most likely on Monday or Tuesday. Quote:
