your favorite bands from the 90s

What are your favorite bands from the 90s? I was a product of the 90s. I graduated from high school in '92 and college in '96, so I have fond memories during this time and honestly I still think the music kicks ass. A couple of my favorite groups that were popular during this time are Pearl Jam, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and obviously Nirvana. What music do you guys still listen to from the 90s?

I have tons of CD's from back then but the groups I liked then are still playing today. Pearl Jam was far and away my favorite but they've never been able to match the raw emotion of 10. Soundgarden had some great songs off BadMotorFinger, Nirvana had a lot of good stuff but some crap songs too. RHCP same thing but they totally suck live. Screaming Trees were excellent along with Alice in Chains and Ministry. Smashing Pumpkins were great also. Can't really remember much pop music from the 90's but there may have been some bands I missed.

Ya, 10 was an awesome album, but I though vs. and Vitalogy were great too. Soundgarden was crazy.

They were/are but nothing close to the power and emotion 10 came at you with. That CD is one of the few perfect CD's for start to finish IMHO.

True, but I thought the other albums were good too. Not too many albums can be played start to finish without hitting the skip button at least once.

I guess I also forgot some other great bands of the 90's. Radiohead, Rage Against the Machine, Tool, Depeche Mode, U2 (although I liked their 80's stuff more).
