Just downloaded Rockin' in the Free World with Pearl Jam/Neil Young.

I had lost my copy of that song, and I like the PJ/Young version the best.

I was a beastie Boys fan. I liked Sabotage the best. There video is among the greatest of all time.

GNR is great, but when I think of 90s music I think of Nirvana/Pearl Jam and after. They kind of marked the end of bands like GNR, but I still throw my GNR CDs in pretty often.

Oh yeah, I got their music video dvd, with all their hits. It is freaking awesome. I didn't buy any of their cds when I was younger because I was young, and now you can download them. they were awesome. too bad that the greatest guitarist ever and among the greatest singers ever can't get along.

Well, Slash is an awesome guitarist, but my favorite of all time is Randy Rhoads. Noone played guitar like he could, and he was capable of playing both rock and classical. I think his classical training made him more rounded and his technique was unsurpassed. I know some people will probably disagree and throw in other names like Yngwie Malmsteen, Eddie Van Halen (another one of my favorites), but IMO noone played as well as Rhoads.
