WOW!!! If you guys ever watch real sports with Bryant he interviews Vince McMann (sp) and asked why his wrestlers died at such a young age. Vince got pissed off with the acuzations of steroid abuse....

yes, this is very sad. Wrestling although may not be "real" is an extremely hard sport. It is like acting at full spead fighting. They have to do it all.

Eddie did use drugs, not to sure about the steroids to be sure. But a lot of pro wrestlers use steroids, john cena, batista.

He gave up drinking and drugs more than 4 years ago. But I guess it came back to haunt him.

Quote:
After the untimely passing of Eddie Guerrero, WWE and the entire sports-entertainment community is steel reeling from the devastating loss of a champion. The initial autopsy reports on Guerrero have come in. WWE.com spoke with Eddie’s widow, Vickie Guerrero, earlier today.

“It was heart failure. It was from his past – the drinking and the drug abuse. They found signs of heart disease. She (the examiner) said that the blood vessels were very worn and narrow, and that just showed all the abuse from the scheduling of work and his past. And Eddie just worked out like crazy all the time. It made his heart grow bigger and work harder and the vessels were getting smaller, and that’s what caused the heart failure. He went into a deep sleep.

As soon as they saw his heart, they saw the lining of his heart already had the heart disease. There was no trauma, and Eddie hadn’t hurt himself in any way. It answered a lot of questions. I knew Eddie wasn’t feeling very good for the last week. He was home and kept saying he wasn’t feeling good and we thought it was just “road tired.” So we thought he just had to rest. It answered a lot of my questions, too, because he was just so exhausted. She said it was normal because the heart was working so hard.

When he didn’t call me last night and the night before I knew it was for real, because he would call me every night. I miss his phone calls. I cried through the whole thing (last night).

I loved his laugh. His laugh was the best.

We just celebrated his four-year sobriety last Thursday. We just thought we had life by the handful. We thought we had it all figured out. He worked so hard to make a better life for us.

I’m just overwhelmed by how people are coming out. It’s touched my heart a lot.

Everybody was just in awe last night in how beautifully everything was put together.

For those who never watched wrestling before or don't anymore. If there was one time to watch it, it would of been on Monday or this Friday(Thursday for Canada), as you will see how much Eddie meant to everyone. The 2 shows, Raw and Smackdown, are dedicated to him. RAW was very emotional for us fans, imagine what it felt like for his friends and family. Smackdown, i'm sure will be the same, packed with tons of emotion.

We'll never forget you Eddie!

Thats pretty rough. Bad year for wrestling, first Candido, then Cash, now Guerrero. I was really down about Chris Ca$h though.. I don't think there will ever be another ladder match worker as good as he was.
Btw AYung, this is LukeT from 'the other boards' and I havn't watched WWE since the night of ECW ONS, and never will watch it again (or that ONS bullshit that wasn't ECW at all). I'm purely focused on CZW, IWS, BJPW, AJPW, NJPW, and Chikara for now. CZW's the only fed I follow closely though.. Their last show was the best wrestling show i've seen this year, amazing match between Ruckus and Claudio, Chris Hero and Eddie Kingston, Chris Sabin and Mike Quackenbush, then a good but not amazing matches, Tough Crazy Bastards and Nick gage and JC Bailey, and Sabian and Heretic. Average matchs were Adam Flash and B-Boy vs Team Masturbation, Niles Young and Nate Webb, Derek Frazier vs JC Bailey vs SeXXXy Eddy, then Danny Havoc and The Necro Butcher vs DJ Hyde and Jon Dahmer was a bit of a disapointment to me, overall though awesome show considering it had only one weak match and 3 amazing ones.

Yeah, I was shocked when I saw the tribute on the cable channel here that shows wrestling... Of course, my WWE broadcasts are delayed by 2 weeks... so I haven't seen the raw or Smackdown tributes.. but as either a face or heel, there's no denying that Eddie was a great wrestler.. fantastic in the ring & on the mic... Probably the only guy capable of selling the storyline that Dominic was really his son... great stuff... I styll can't believe he's gone...

R.I.P. Eddie..

Peace..~G

John Cena comes to Tulsa about 3 times a year...When I was working at Bally's I used to let him come in for free and workout I would throw down with him for a minute then I was back to work. That fool is BIG!!!!
