Happened to me at the nationals, I was representing Nova Scotia. Some **** from Moncton stomped my calves. He got taken off in a stretcher though.

It started because one of their players boarded our captain, and the referee SOMEHOW didn't deem it fit to call at least a minor (it definitly meritted a major though) so the crowd and everyone was absolutely ****ing furious. So right after the face off I charge the guy who boarded my captain and then I had the other 4 guys all over me, then my team mates came over, etc. and the standard big brawl happened, benches emptied, even their goalie got a piece. The kid who I charged (not from my hit, but from the aftermath of the brawl) ended up having to get 4 staples in his head, and I couldn't be more pleased with anything.

He got charged again after he lost his helmet, and hence the staples. Luckily my captain fully recovered, but he couldn't play for several weeks after that. ****ed up part was this was at an Atom AAA level.
