Default Will this work in my computer?

I've never seen RAM like this but the specs match what I need for my Gigabyte Mother Board. Can any one tell me if TOPU is for special systems or what?

if it fits into your ram slot you should be good, im guessing its just another brand name with some special technology. make sure it matches your other ram, or else it wont work.

Thanks, well it's 168pin which is right, PC133 is right so I can't see why it wouldn't beside it looking totally different then anything I've seen.

after doing some searching it looks like TOPU is a german hardware manufacturer that also makes hard drives, though I can not find a website, nor can I really be certain of what all that german gibberish means

Hey man i used to work as a comp fixer/builder but the pay was low so i left lol.

IF your board takes SDRAM PC133 then you shouldnt have a problem. The metal casing is just for cooling. If you have the exact spec of your m/b it would be easier to advise.

I think it may be time to upgrade. The metal is a ramsink. i would try to find a more trusted brand. Micron technologys, kingston, any thing better than the great TOPU brand.

lol..it is time to upgrade but I don't have the cash right now for a major overhaul. I missed the deadline to bid by 2 mins anyway so I'll have to pick up another one. I'm only running 256MB of memory now so this is the cheapest performance upgrade I can make, ie best bang for the buck.
