Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 38 | I watch for $1.99/lb (or less!) sales that come around between our two major supermarkets (ShopRite and Wegmans) and check the quality before buying 4-5 huge trays. I used to trim them then freeze them, but lately I grill them first, then freeze them. Makes it a lot easier to reheat and eat, especailly since I'm usually just eating a chicken breast with veggies and not making up a whole new meal for the family. Those $1.99 sales are great.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 94 | Depends on who's having the special. Meijer --- 8 lb frozen boneless skinless chicken = $12 Kroger --- two 6-7 lb whole chickens = ~$5. My cousin buys a lot of good quality meat at Costco, not sure what he pays though.

| IronMass Donator | We are trying to find like restaurant sized chicken breasts. Like the ones you'd get at chili's or applebees. We have been buying the 6 lb packs of tyson boneless skinless breasts at Sams club for a while, but they are absolutely huge! I've tried fileting them, but they are too inconsistent for that, so I am on a quest for this mysterious 'Sysco' chicken breast... |

| IronMass Donator | Well we went to costco today and they had exactly what we needed - 10 lb bag of frozen boneless skinless breasts. $23. Not a terrific price, but not bad at all considering what we've been paying. I'm going to grill it all up tomorrow and probably freeze half of it. |
