I posted this at bb.com, but thought I'd put it up here to get more exposure...the more people who are pissed off at this the better, and the sooner we can do something about it.

When they catch this bastard, they'd better string him up...

The girl was discharged from hospital on Wednesday after being treated for "significant" injuries sustained in an attack after she was driven away from her home in the Rumney area of Cardiff on Monday night.
She was found by police when the car she was travelling in crashed 80 miles away on the A4 between Marlborough, Wiltshire, and Hungerford, Berkshire, in the early hours of Tuesday. Officers were alerted to the car when it jumped a red traffic light with its headlights switched off.

The girl suffered minor injuries in the crash and was airlifted to Great Western Hospital in Swindon before being released on Wednesday. Also on Wednesday, South Wales Police were given extra time to hold the 26-year-old, arrested at the scene of the crash, and the 34-year-old, taken into custody while police were still looking for the girl.

The 47-year-old was arrested in Cardiff on Wednesday morning. None of the men in custody is related to the girl.

The girl's mother, who cannot be named for legal reasons, told the Daily Mirror: "She's been through hell. All she's asking for is her dummy and her five-year-old brother. I'm so relieved to get her back.

"My sweet little girl is always so chatty and loves playing with Barbie dolls. But she's hardly spoken a word since this happened. She gave her dad a smile for the first time this morning. But she's just completely overwhelmed and in shock."

She said she had been on the telephone to her own mother when her daughter was taken and that it "happened in seconds".

On Thursday night too, this happened...I just hope they aren't related.

Police investigating the abduction and sexual assault of a six-year-old girl said were widening their search for the paedophile to other parts of the country.

The child was snatched by an unknown man from her bath in North Tyneside exactly a week ago, driven around the area then dumped naked in a snowy back lane around 15 minutes later.

Detective Chief Inspector Jim Napier said he remained confident he would catch her attacker, having had an "excellent" response from the public.

Mr Napier, speaking at North Shields Police Station, only a few minutes' drive from the abduction scene, said he had received 100 calls to the incident room.

The detective said a number of people reported seeing a vehicle in the area on Tuesday evening. But he confirmed nobody had come forward to say they had seen the man, who was described by the little girl as wearing dark clothes, dark gloves and may have had sideburns or was unshaven.

Mr Napier said he remained convinced the girl's account was "credible and feasible".

"I am happy with the way the inquiry is progressing at the moment," he said. "I know there has been some doubt and concerns about the allegation.
