What do you want to do with the rest of your life?

This more or less applies to the younger crowd here, but older folks feel free to participate aswell. I'm curious what some of your aspirations in life are, what do you want to do after high school? Are you going to go to university, what would you take? Stuff like that. Myself I am completing my last year of high school now then i'm headed to Camden, NJ. to attend divers academy international where I will hopefully recieve my commericial diving liscence. Then I will consider the Lincoln Electric welding school also in Camden to get a few welding certificates. I intend on becoming an underwater welder for a living.

Attend Virginia Tech, get masters in athletic training maybe an Assoicate in business management, land a job as a trainer for a pro team while tearing it up at a few random track meets every year, get married, buy a house, have kids, buy a Viper for the summer and a WRX for winter, grow old and set the WR for the 100m in the old people bracket *D

that is awsome. i am a machininst so i know how to weld and i am also a certified diver (though it has been several years since i have been under)
i once hit 99 feet. never made 100 maybe someday. anyway... that is a unique and admirable goal.

My goal is to be the best husband i can possibly be. my wife and i are taking a "respect and love" class together and even though it may sound corney.....that is what i am going to focus on.

Thank you very much, and your goal is extremely admirable as well, and it doesn't sound remotely corney to me. It makes me feel great that people out there are doing their best to be a good husband. And the fact that you understand how important it is to respect and love your wife and are taking the intiative to work on that is excellent.

I am really looking forward to my life, I finish high school at the end of June and i'll be working part time until then, only spending money on christmas/birthday presents, etc. Next year I will stay home for one more year with my parents so I won't have to pay rent or anything, and I will work 60 hours/week for the whole year so I will definitly have enough money saved up by the end of that year to go to New Jersey and support myself for the following year. I've already calculated all of the aproximate costs including how much the near by apartment complexes go for. Luckily for me I won't be alone because a friend of mine who still has one year of highschool left will be going out with me too, unlike me he won't have a full extra year to work to save up money, but anything he is short on financially I should have sufficient funds to cover, and we can do some paper work and such to work out a lone, because I know he is good for the money.

I plan to graduate from highschool with a 3.8GPA and attend college majoring in either Nutrition or Sports Nutrition and then becoming a Dietician somewhere :P

I plan to get a GED or a HS Diploma, and become an AWS certified welder. Work either for the pipefitter or boilermaker union, work while I'm young on the road so hopefully I can find a job in a small welding shop or a job in sales somewhere so I can settle down, raise a family and not always be on the road.

Make a lot of your own equipment being a welder.

i have allready made a knee raise tower/dip station
and have plans on making a machine for working legs i just have to
find a pic of what i want and then find the time. that is the hard part.

I also intend on becoming an American Welding Society certified welder, I just finished reading this book http://www.techstreet.com/cgi-bin/de...roduct_id=9693 Great value, I recomend you get an AWS book, just not one obviously that specializes in welder divers.

I'd also love to have a family when I am an adult, but i'm not counting on getting married. Not that I don't wish too, just can't be sure i'm going to find someone. If I do though, i'd love to start and raise a family and change the focus of my life to my children. I don't have to worry too much about that stuff now though, as I am only 17.

Well, to be fair I wouldn't consider you old for example. =p I just mean more for the younger folks, like teenagers and people who are still in highschool or just getting out. I say that because chances are people in say their thirties, while still young would usually have their lives and futures more secured.

I'm always glad to provide a laugh though!

Well as a lot of you all know I am a Senior Marketing Major at Marshall University, where recently I got admitted into the 3+2 program where I will get my MBA in one year after I graduate in May. I will have a major in marketing, a minor in Economics, and one in history, and will have my MBA. I would like to be a marketing manager for a fortune 500 company, music company, supplement company, or insurance. I currently co own my own insurance agency that I started when I was 18. I have the greatest girlfriend in the world.

In the future, I want to have a great job, a loving family, and great friends. I would love to travel the world, own several houses/condos across the nation, and maybe even become a reporter for a fitness magazine. That sounds like a good life to me.

Oh, I also want to get as big as possible!

I haven't really decided what to do after that because I'd like to see how close I can become to being a professional cycler and if I would like to do that if I can. I'll probably work for a year or two after college, then probably take the German fluency exam and go to grad school in Germany for cheap as hell. I would love to be a college professor or teach at a prestigious high school somewhere unless I can come up with something better.

Whatever I do, I want to have a flexible job (not work too much) so that I can possibly work a side job as a trainer and be very serious about bodybuilding for my whole life.
