It is broken up into racial groups.. One black group, one whilte group, one asian group and a latino group...

Does it bother you that they are putting one race against another???

not to mention, if you look at the cast, hardly any of them are pure. you want a real mexican, get someone who jumped the border. not someone with a good amount of white blood who resembles someone like Ricky Martin.

I don't, if you look at reality these groups in general stay within their own circles anyway so it's really no different then a competition between countries. It's like Sweden vs. China vs. Kenya vs. Mexico, if there was a games set up between these countries no one would think twice about it. It's controversial because media want's you to think it is.

Atypical mexicans are mixed with caucasian Spaniards and the Natives. Nobody is "pure" anymore.

well then it is hardly based on race. if you want it to be seperated with whites, blacks, Mexicans, etc..... get someone of pure blood. or at least as pure as can be. not a bunch of Mexicans who are just of some Mexican descent.

Your "logic" is flawed from it's very inception. "Mexican" is a nationality, not a race. It's like having "Whites, Blacks, Asians and British." Anyone who is born in Mexico would qualify as part of the Mexican group. You can have someone who is black or asian born in Mexico and be part of that group.

To establish something as "pure" (as you like to call it) you must have an axiom of which to base it off of. No such one exists for the "latin" group as latins are caucasians born in Latin America. A sect if you will, analagous to the Anglophones, Francophones and etc...It has little to do with skin color.

Perhaps you should put down the propoganda newsletters and read a (real) book...

I think it is pretty funny and think they have their neck out a little bit. Although they aren't doing anything racist, it brings up ideas of segregatation and other racial tactics to seperate races.
