Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 158 | I definitely respect your opinion peaked, though it seems the poll is currently leaning towards the pound of muscle being heavier.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 15 | LOL, I'm going to vote fat because muscle can lift muscle, but fat does not carry its own weight. I'm guessing the the gross weight is the same, thus them both being a pound, but the fat has more net weight. I could be wrong, fat does make a good energy reserve in some cases afterall, which may contribute to it carrying its own weight. But the energetic value of fat is only realized after it has been burned and used, making it less than a pound. I dunno.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 50 | This is kind of a trick question. Although a pound of muscle and a pound of fat both weigh a pound, they are not equal when it comes to your body composition.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 71 | You're a little confused. You want to know which one has more volume. You worded your question incorrectly, almost like those trick questions "what weighs more; a ton of bricks or a ton of feathers?" They both weigh the same, there's just more of one than the other.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 58 | Of course this is a trick question. Worded correctly, it would be "Which has more volume, a pound of muscle or a pound of fat?" A 3 lbs mass of muscle has the same volume as 1 lb of fat. Fat has 3 times more volume per lb. *
