Yes, it passed.

But, it's just a city law. Those found in possession can still be prosecuted under state or federal law ( where these cases are normally tried anyway ), so it really serves no purpose, other than to set a legal precedent.

I personally think that if Alcohol is legal, Marijuana should be too. I don't smoke, and don't agree with it, but Alcohol kills 30000000000000000 times more people that marijuana.

You do realize that about 35% of those caught driving drunk have another substance in their system... and most of the time it is marijuana... ( helps to be the wife of a cop. )

Let me just say... there is a difference between a pothead and a person who smokes occasionally.

A pothead is someone who smokes like 5-10 times a day. A person who smokes once a week or less, is just a person who enjoys doing it.

It isn't good for you, but it's a lot better than a lot of other stuff people could be doing.

While I do agree with you that smoking weed provides no benefits whatsoever to anyone, it hasn't impaired Ricky Williams ability as a running back in the NFL. Unless you count his game suspensions.

My opinion applies only to healthy peeps and not medical patients seeking relief from pain.
