TEENAGE girls in a US city have been banned from showing cleavage in the classroom because it distracts boys from their studies.
A new dress code in Arlington, Texas, outlaws low-cut blouses, tops and sweaters which have "plunging necklines".

There will be no measuring to define cleavage, just a simple sight test.

"If you can see the space between a woman's breasts, it's not allowed," Arlington High principal James Adams said.

Arlington school board president Sherri Wade said: "It's bad enough that, unfortunately, our young males are looking at more than their English book, their speech book, their science book. And it's kind of nice to have something left to the imagination."

Lol... that use to be the only reason I went to school. Thank god for college and no dress code. The late spring and early fall times are the best to be a college student. Wow, it is nice!

this rule was in effect when i was at my old highschool 4 years ago.

We staged a sit in at my school after they instituted the 'zero tolerance' dress code. No hoodies, no bookbags in class, no hats, 'reasonable' shoes, pants must be worn at the waist, no cleavage, no midriffs, no bra straps, no spagnetti strap tank tops, shorts/skirts must be mid thigh lenght or longer, no coats/jackets in class, no sheer/see thru clothing unless proper garments are worn underneath, no messenger bags, etc...

It sucked, I wore my jacket and bookbag to class every day prior to that. The no hoodies/sweatshirts with the big front pocket rule pissed the most people off.

Of course, right after I started here dad instituted a no cleavage policy here too, it sucks, everything I own is cut waaay low.

I loved University at summer time. Hard to believe it was three years, and I finished two years ago. It was like a f**king contest amongst the hot chicks to see who could wear the least without getting arrested.
