Song covers better than the original

I was thinking about this the other day as I downloaded a few songs, there are some bands that I think cover another group's song and perform it better than the original. At least that's my opinion. Here's a few examples:

Guns N' Roses-Knockin' on Heaven's Door
Pearl Jam-Rockin in the Free World <--- kicks major ass

Van Halen-You Really Got Me

What do you guys think? Can you think of any others?

Very true. I think the actual lyrics suck, but I just liked the way she sang it. Too bad she's kind of gone downhill.
