Default FOR SALE: 1977 MGB

I was recently given a 77' Mg convertible, anyone wanna buy it? AS IS, and as it is -- it don't run.

$2500 takes it, beautiful car if someone can fix it up. EBay they're like $5000, when I took a peek.

Motor turns over, some body filler and she's good as new. Full elather interior is BEAUTIFUL. Pics upon request.

Ehh. My dad's got a 75 MG Midget. So I don't think he needs another. I'll ask him though.

I've always liked those little cars.

Not in the market right now though. Eventually, I'd like to find a nice Triumph TR6 and restore it.

Yeah, Bondo. Few little rust patches, cover 'em up and she's good.

This car might be fun to try getting to the point to offroad. REALLY short wheelbase, and it's only about 51" wide. Might be easier to make it drag-strip ready, 350 and a Ford 9" in the rear, cut it short and put some slicks, cut out wheel wells ... I'd love to do it, I just don't have the time or money.

I agree Sholiz,

I think the MGB would be a better street or drag racer than an off roader.
Not to much ground clearance on those cars.

I've never really seen an MGB with a lot of mods on it. That would be pretty cool.

Lol, I'm not expecting it to last as an offroad vehicle guys. I already have a jeep cherokee with an 8 inch lift, 34's, nice wench, brush guards, etc for that. I just want something me and my friends can tear up for fun. :bigthumbu

Aright cool. Btw do you know what's wrong with the motor or no? I mean if it's just blown then ok I could get a rebuild kit but if it's somethin else let me know.

It's the fuel pump as far as my dad and I know, I'm buying a new fuel pump ASAP. I wanna have it running when I go to sell it.

I have a 1934 Chevy Project Car that needs to go. Only something like 1000 ever built. Comes with Mustang Rear End, Front Suspension, Mint Grill and Fiberglass Running Boards.

The body and frame are really good, minimal rust.

$2900 US.

TR6's are the bomb. My dad used to have one in mint condition, sold it for $5000 and regrets it like hell now.

He did a body-off restoration on it with my Grandpa. The cool part about the car was that the British Flags on the back of the car were facing the opposite way than they should have been, and that's how the car was built.
