Default Packin' new heat

Picked up this baby yesterday ... fired off 250 rounds today. I like this little gun.

Taurus Millenium Pro PT111 with 12 round mag ... wanted a .40S&W but they only had the 9mm in the store, so I got it (and ammo is cheaper). I'm gonna buy the same gun in .45 eventually, or Taurus's 24/7 model in .45 and a stainless Millenium Pro in .40 for my concealed carry ... 9mm just ain't stoppin' shit.

9mm is plenty of stopping power. Despite what people think, it's been put to the test for decades and is a good weapon. Easier to fire than a .45ACP, cheaper, lighter, and still penetrates solid objects better than an AR-15 (just in case you need to put some rounds through walls or car doors to get to someone).

Yeah, it's a well tested round and that's part of the reason I'm comfortable with it for a carry ... I've got a Winchester Camp Defender 8 rounds of 3" Mag 12 guage under the bed and AR15 flat top in the closet ... not the place someone wants to break in

Not to mention a 12lb shih-tzu with a LOUD voice.

Yeah, they're nice ... 7+1 = not greatest, but whatever. Reliable, shoots anything (and well to boot).

eh, I'd rather 8 rounds of a .45 then 20 rounds of a 9mm. remember, if someone is close enough, you don't have time to fire those 20 rounds off and I want stopping power. =D Plus its my favorite historical pistol

The 1911 was killing America's enemies since before Gaston Glock was born.

Bang Bang Bang

And the target that was used in THAT particular video (46 holes ... count 'em, 12 rounds per clip = 4 clips in that target ) ... I figure 2 punched thru another hole, cause there wasn't any holes in the backboard other than where I was shooting!
