Cool Old 90's songs you love

Today Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls came on the radio when I was driving. I'd forgotten how much I loved that song. Are there any songs from the 90's that you miss?

Wow great thread. I'm such a 90's freak regarding music...all the stuff that came out in the span of like 1993-1997 is just so awesome. Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, Alice in Chains, Nine Inch Nails, Goo Goo Dolls, Green Day...ahhh man.

I agree, 1990-1997 was the golden age of music for our time. ALL genres reached their peak in my honest.

Grunge like Nirvana, Punk like Rancid, Rap like Wutang and Snoopdogg, honestly i wish icould go back to the 90s. TV was good back then to: Dinosaurs, the simpsons, chip and dale rescue rangerrs, duck tales, original power rangers

But you know WHY it was so good? CLINTON WAS IN THE WHITEHOUSE. Yeah, I just went there.

oh no you didn't!!!

tv was made worse by Clinton (research his effect on the FCC). Beyond that, Clinton was great imo.

yeah I miss the 90's music. I love 92.3 KROCK out of NYC cuz they play a mix of 90's and new rock and classic rock

I like going through my friend's CD collections from back in the day...whenever I find something I haven't heard in a while I have one of those "ohhhh no way, I remember this song!" moments and then rip it to my compy.

Oh lord. I guess if you're not going to exercise the least you could do is research before you post. Klinton was the 2nd worst president of the 20th century, behind only Jimmy Carter, another clown I'm sure you adore. Yeah, I just went there.

All "staples" for me...minus the Goo Goo Dolls though...I also listen to Undertow a lot (Tool) as well as: Pearl Jam, Offspring (Smash was their best by far...they got lame later). and of course, Nirvana.

I'll have to go through my collection and post my favorite stuff...I have like 30 gigs of music now so its hard to keep track.

One thing I found that works really well for finding those "one hit wonders" that you heard on the radio but never wound up buying was to download the Billboard Top 100 or w/e for each year. Lots of great songs plus random stupid/hilarious ones that we only joke about now.

I'll let your questionable taste in music slide this time.

The reason I like a lot of those bands is not because the music was awesome(although a ton of it definitely is), its because I associate the songs with specific memories from my formative years.
