Default New ride ... I'm thinking

So I've got a really shitty Chrysler Cirrus LXI right now and I'm thinking of getting a late 2000's Impala. I found one 2003 Impala with 62,000 on the 3600 engine for $6,200 (probably can take it $5500 cash).

Now I'm one for systems ... and I'm one who will DEFINITELY pump the money into this car to have one fat ass ride. Now that's within my price range, or I could try to get a job and get a really fat ride (Trailblazer or Audi S6/G35 ...)

idk what to do, it's gonna be a pounder ... I gotta figure something out, I want it to be black on black with some nice 20's and at least 3000w in the trunk.

Any reccomendations?

If you're considering an S6 why don't you look at the Acura TL? 6 speed manual is FAAAASSSSTTTTT and it has lots of space in the back for a system.

I have 3k watts running through some Audiobahn 12's in my Solara...I broke my windshield when I was running response curves.

don't get a G35, they aren't good, specially for being a "Skyline." What about a Monte Carlo SS?

Ew...Monte Carlo? F- in my book.

Audi's are good, 350z, TSX, TL, and pretty much any of the new Subaru's are good too.

I'd love a Monte if she was a RWD ... Don't really want to go mad into debt though, so I'd like to stay around $5-10k

Get a safari van, and put some ironmass decals on it and give candy away.

Get a Z28, they're pretty cheap now.

Yeah but those hatchbacks have zero room for a decent system.

your joking right? A camaro can fit a damned good system bro... My friends 97 Camaro won ICE at a NJ Domestic car show, not just over other Camaro's but over tons of different beastly cars.

No way dude, the amount of air needed for 3 13.5" W7's like I want (lol) would probably be in the ballpark of 13-15 cubic feet ...

only way to do it would be to build a wall in the backseat. I need mad room for air (box alone will take up 1/2 the trunk at least) aswell as amps, wiring, blocks, capacitor, spare battery ...

I've seen a guy cram 8 15's in an Integra, and it still sounded damn good. Won lots of shows. If you want good subs, buy Digital Designs. They're the best subs you'll ever buy...ever.

Naw, I wanna get hooked up with a fat Memphis or JL deal -- like 4 W7's and four 1000/1's or two Memphis Mojo 4KW's ... 2k watts to each W7 should power 'em

Plus Memphis or JL 300/4 to Premier door speaks

Memphis and the 10w7/13w7's are so nice...I almost bought a Memphis 12 for a system I built for a buddy.

Romanaz I don't see why you think the G35 coupe sucks...that thing has SO much potential. I'll probably be buying either one of those or a 2006 350z at the end of the summer.
