I'm getting married in a couple months, but I haven't had a throrough blood test in years.

What all do I tell him I need to get for the blood workup

My liver's gonna look like shit after this last cycle

Yeah, that I know... She's the on;y one I've been with, so....

I'm more interested in like liver, test, etc...

It is mostly a test for diseases, hepatitis, aids, …

Basically just a blood sceening no worries.

You're not following.

I know about that stuff and I'm sure they will test for all that.

I'm more interested in the other stats I can get. Mainly so I can see where my liver and test levels sit so I can plan my next cycle.

I was clean in the military and have never been sexually active, so I'm not worried about STDs, though will of course have them check that (Abstinance by choice)

Tell him you are taking roids and need to know how it is effecting your system.

If you mention you would like xyz things checked out the doc will ask why and mention how at your age there is nothing to worry about.

It will go like this
Do you drink?
Do drugs?
Have history of high blood pressure?

I am not sure what guys who cycle would ask or why they would. Have to wait for someone to respond.

Complete Thyroid screen (T-3 uptake, Total T4, Free T4, total T3, Free T3, Free T4 index, TSH, TBG)
Prolactin
Total test
Free test
LH, FSH

These are some additional tests that would be great to have if you can afford them.
Estrogen level (preferably estradiol, estrone and estriol but some idea of estrogen is better than none)
ACTH
Cortisol


Does this sound right???

Most of those are a basic test anyway but they might get pissy about paying for tests just because you are currious...

a normal blood test consisit of testing liver values and lipids, also a basic blood screen can test for any diseases you might have. HOWEVER the total test, free test and whatnot is specialty and will cost you more, insurence might not cover it becuase the doc might not think its needed. you will have to ask the doc to test for those extra goodies. krza has a PCT thread that has most of this layed out and how your blood test results should look. its a great write up, ill get the link for you. hope this helped.

Pioneer... can you send that link through PM.. that is a private section of the board.. and you have to have permission to view it.. I think it would be best to not put a link to that section in the Misc section... that way people who do not have permission to view that section,, dont view it.. And if anyone wants to view that section you need to PM Murphman.. and he will tell you what you need to do..
