My girlfriend put on 10lbs during 1 month at bootcamp

I think that is the most ridiculous thing. She said the first few weeks were just inprocessing crap and they didn't exercise her, just yell at her a lot. Then shot got sick and spent two weeks with less exercise. Now she's being seperated (she got sick) from the armed services and coming back home.

I thought I'd share.....because.... I have NEVER heard of anyone gaining weight in bootcamp before.... I was like "uhhhhhhhhhh how much did you put on

" .....

so guys! Don't let your girls go to bootcamp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is scary stuff! I'm really mean, cos I asked her if she was going to get back into running when she got home. :fruity:

i ahd a few friends in basic who put on 5-7 pounds over tthe 9 weeks period...mostly because most of them had never exercised or eaten 3 squares a day in their entire lives. i think i ended up about 4 pounds lighter....i was definitely more agile afterwards.

I lost over 40lbs in bootcamp. Went from 240 to 195 or so when I got out. Within a month I was back up to 230lbs. I lost so much weight they put me on double rat's. I don't know much about the female version of bootcamp, but I'm sure it's similar, I just don't know how anyone could possibly gain weight off of 3 meals a day. Wish I where that lucky.

Our sister division didnt get cycled nearky 1/10 of what we did. They dont work the females as hard.
