Question Mountain Bike Question

I finally decided to break out my old bike and after a little fixing up I noticed that the front shocks aren't doing their job, infact they don't move at all. Anybody know what to do or am I better off looking for a new bike? :zoom:

Take it to a couple shops and see what they can do. Front shocks can be replaced but you have to decide if it's worth the money on an older bike or would it be better to get a new one.

Look at the top of the shocks and see it thear is a bolt you can take off. If there is, take it to a bike shop. There is some kind of grease they use to lube them up. I had a friend who had this done and they worked like new. Don't try and do it your self though cause if you use the wrong stuff it will **** them up for good. I think it's cause the shocks are made of rubber, and the wrong kind of grease will eat away at them. Not to sure about that... It was a long time ago when he had this done. It's worth getting it check out though, unless you want a new bike.

Try some CRC or something else. They work on mine when they get a bit stiff. Just spray it around the seal and then push down a couple of times or something if you can.
