Kendra in August Oxygen Magazine

Hey Everyone,

Just a quick post to let you know your fellow forum member Kendra has a couple pictures in the August issue of Oxygen Magazine this month. ( Kelly Ryan is on the cover )

There is a really good picture of her on pg. 150 and another smaller pic from her routine from the Nationals on pg. 153.

( I'm proud, what can I say..

)

So, if you are in your local grocery store or drug store check it out!

Awesome! She really is moving up the ranks to be in a major like Oxygen. Any chance of posting the pics here EME?

She's in the mag as part of their coverage of the Nationals, so it isn't just about her, but it's a really good picture and definitely good publicity.

We had no idea the pics were going to be in there, so it's pretty cool just to pick up a magazine in line at the grocery store and open it up and see your pictures!

I'll see if I can scan the pics, but I don't have digital copies at the moment.

Oxygen is a Betty Weider mag is it not?

Actually Oxygen is published by Robert Kennedy. Same publisher that does MuscleMag. It's sort of the sister magazine to MuscleMag, dedicated to women's fitness

Oxygen has the most Fitness and Figure competition coverage of any of the bigger Bodybuilding / Fitness mags.

You might be thinking of "Muscle and Fitness Her's" which is the Weider Mag along the same lines as Oxygen.

I know Kendra will reply when she gets a chance.

Sorry if you guys get sick of me always posting things about her, but we just have a lot of exciting things happening right now.

It was really a pretty amazing thing to be in line at the grocery store and open a magazine that we have read for several years, and then see her in it when we weren't expecting it.

I'm really excited about how well her training for her first Pro show is going, and how things are starting to come together.

I have no idea how things will shake out in September as far as placings, but I can promise she's going to be her best.

It's exciting to have a pro affiliated with IronMass in some way and we're all happy for you anyway.
