I've got an IPOD mini and I have no problems with it. If I had known better back then when I baught it I would have baught something like the m:Robe.

Anyway the IPOD mini is great for when I'm training. I also found an awesome alternative to Itunes, winner!

Haha... I have an iPod Mini as well... I originally wanted an iPod Shuffle.. but I'm overseas and even tho the Shuffle had been released in the States.. when I went into stores here, folks looked at me lyke I'd asked them if they had a part for the Starship Enterprise... So, with no idea when the Shuffle would be released here, I picked up a mini... 7 months later.. the Shuffle is in stores, but I'm glad I have the mini... when I get to my last set of squats or deads I can use the screen and pick out the song I need to hear that'll help me get the weight up...

I also have no regrets because I've gone 7 months without listening to the techno music they prefer to play in my gym... Just get the earplugs that have hooks, so they'll stay in your ear and you'll be perfect..

I just ordered a Ipod Shuffle 1GB from Amazon last week for $130.
My old MP3 was only 125MB, and it sucked having to reload it every day.
I hope 1 GB is enough for now.

I have a 20g, and a shuffle. I use the shuffle a lot for when I do cardio and what not because it is so small and light. I use my 20g in my car and everywhere else. I would go with the 20g because it isnt that much more, and you'll be happy because you probably wont fill it to quick. I know when i got it I just borrowed all of my friends cds :bigthumbu

No. I'm not a whore. I prefer MiniDiscs. The sound quality is far better - even with the Net MD - and the case it comes with has a 3 MD compartment. All I gotta do is swap MDs during a break in between sets. A High MD has 1GB storage capacity, which equates to 5 albums for me at the highest bitrate - and there's no issue with having to load and reload every few days.

May be extreme quality, but it is not a CD to CD recording - which means quality drop off. I don't know about you, but I am serious about the music I listen to, and any noticeable quality drop off really pisses me off.

320kbps is the maximum bitrate of MP3, that it is in some way equivalent to a CD. There is no way you will notice a difference in sound between the two unless you got some fancy equipment with you to run an test.

Even with 192k these days the encoding is soo good you cannot tell the difference.
