Doctor gives me these antibiotics again to try and fix this throat infection that's been bugging me for three weeks. It's now f**king with my ears. Anyways, I used to be able to shit four times a day, and they'd all be big, solid things. All was well. Not anymore though. I shit water like six times a day now - it stops when I stop the pills, but then my throat gets messed up and my hearing starts to go shitty - and I can't even force out a fart without risking shitting myself. This is f**ked

What is the antiobiotic?

I've been on cefalexin (keflex) and had the same thing happen. Only was supposed to be on them for 10 days max but that was still too long. I quit taking them and after a few days got back normal.

that is why I always ask for the Z pak.. you take them for 2 piils 1st day then 1 pill a day the next 3 days, and they are in your system for 10 days... no sides at all for me..

Antibiotics can mess up the natural bacteria in your intestines, thus the problem with your bowels. Have you tried eating some yogurt? It contains active bactreria cultures which may offer you some relief. Also, try not to take your antibiotic on an empty stomach. Hope you're infection clears soon.

I'm on the same stuff, Keflex. It's a piss off, if I go real heavy with squats normally I may fart. Now I can't

Haven't tried yoghurt - it's probably good for you, but I know too many Nancies that eat the stuff. Serious.

Same here man, I had strep for the past week. Liquid shits too many times a day, and feeling like shit and coughing every minute. I am getting better day by day...seasons changing are not good times for me.
