nearly three years sober. next month i think makes 3.

in that time i think i might have had a beer and a bottle of wine.

now come a couple weeks at my friends wedding... there goes that dedication. might knock off a case. not my PR of drinking, but it should do the trick. (PR was high 30's.. 37i think.. of MGD bottles in 3 some hours)

true this. I drank too last saturday for the first time in about 6 months. I only stay away from the stuff because of BBIng.... nothing else.

5 shots and 1 joint. I look at it as my cheat meal for the next 6 months. I also had 3 slices of pizza that evening. Of course, before I went to bed, I hit the cottage cheese and PB, woke up the next morn to some whey and oats and then hit the cardio. I never looked back. It was a great night and I know I deserve it after eating 100% clean year round.



As for your streak of being dry... it sounds like you have had issues with OH in the past... don't let the two year thing bother your. It is only an arbitrary calender. Just be happy you have things under control.


Keys to drinking IMO:

DO NOT do it around a lagging bodypart.
Keep your nutrition solid during it.
Drink a ton
Hard liqour is optimal
Eat foods high in fat during the event (generally an easy one to do)
and if you don't do it often, enjoy, never think twice...

AND DO NOT PUKE. Whatever you do. DON'T DRINK ENOUGH TO PUKE. THAT IS A SURE WAY TO SEND YOUR BODY OUT OF WACK!!! KEEP NUTRIENTS DOWN AND KEEP HYDRATED!!!!!
